Your child will
John specialises in teaching young learners and has over 18 years’ experience in English language education, working with students of all ages and proficiency levels. He engages learners by responding to their interests and needs, using meaningful, real life communication to support natural language development. Prior to joining English for Asia in January 2014, John taught English in Taiwan.
At English for Asia, John has contributed to syllabus development and taught across multiple programmes in our Learning Centre and local schools. His approach combines clear lesson structure (ESA), purposeful repetition and authentic communication, with lessons carefully scaffolded and paced to develop confidence, fluency and accuracy.

Mitchell is an experienced teacher with a broad knowledge of curriculums offered worldwide. He is a firm believer of Phonics as a method to help students master the sounds of English and to become independent readers and writers of English. Mitch has worked at numerous schools in Macao, teaching English to both students and staff. At our Learning Centre Mitch teaches students with a range of proficiency levels, ranging from Beginner to Advanced. Mitchell has a keen interest in politics and current events. He is also an animal lover, enjoys gardening and has a wide collection of model trains.
