In our Summer English Club, designed for Very Young Learners, your child will dive into captivating scenarios, with a mix of games, activities, arts & crafts, and plenty more, all geared towards Very Young Learners. It's a fantastic way to foster language skills and have loads of fun at the same time!

Ana is passionate about helping students to develop clear and comprehensible English pronunciation. At EfA, Ana is teaching conversational English to a range of age groups and proficiency levels including Business English. Prior to joining us in 2017, Ana taught English in Mainland China and worked as a Portuguese-English translator and proofreader.

Cristina joined us in the Summer of 2022 and is an outgoing and energetic individual with a love for teaching young learners. In her past role as a community teacher, she taught a range of workshops to instil ethical and moral values in her students. Cristina’s lesson planning focuses on allowing her students the opportunity to speak and to build their interpersonal skills for effective and confident communication. Cristina has a TESOL certificate and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).

David is a versatile practitioner. He is involved in a wide range of projects, ranging from teaching Very Young Leaners (VYL) to Adults. David also coordinates Young Learner Summer Programmes and delivers Professional Development Workshops for local teachers. David taught English at a variety of institutions in Korea and Vietnam and has a keen interest in languages, including French, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese.

John specialises in teaching young learners and has experience teaching all ages and proficiency levels. In a teaching career spanning over 18 years, John has mastered the skill to engage students by tapping into their needs and interests whilst having real-life conversations to stimulate natural language development. John has been involved in many projects, including the planning and preparation of event days, overseeing and coordinating the development of our ENGLISH CLUB syllabus and teaching on many projects, in both our Learning Centre and at local schools. Prior to joining us in January 2014, John taught English in Taiwan.

Lucus is a versatile teacher with experience teaching all proficiency levels and age groups, ranging from Very Young Learners to Adults. At EfA, Lucus is responsible for developing and teaching our Drama Stars Syllabus for Young Learners, has taken a leading role in the planning and preparation of Summer Events and is an excellent classroom teacher whether one-to-one, corporate or groups of young learners. Prior to joining EfA in March 2019, Lucus has done private tutoring.
